Our field crews utilize advanced Trimble surveying equipment, including robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and mobile computing technology to produce precise and dependable survey results. Our survey personnel bring many years of hands-on field experience, allowing us to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
In the office, our staff uses industry-leading software, including Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, to process field data, prepare construction calculations, create surface models, develop survey deliverables, and support coordination with engineers, contractors, developers, and design teams. We also work with aerial mapping, GIS data, digital elevation models, and other project information to provide clear, usable survey data tailored to each client’s needs.

Our History
Edward-James Surveying, Inc. was founded in Colorado Springs in 2003 by James L. Sincovec and Edward R. Fisher.
That first year, Edward-James Surveying, Inc. ended up with several large projects spread across the State of Colorado, from La Junta in the east to Gunnison in the west. This required our crews to spend more time away from home than we liked. But through it all, Edward-James Surveying, Inc. established an excellent reputation as producers of solid Surveying, quickly producing high-quality results under any circumstances.
