A typical field crew for Edward-James Surveying, Inc. consists of one Land Surveyor with robotic total station and/or GPS equpiment.

Our field crews are equipped with state of the art equipment including Geodimeter/Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble GPS receivers, data collectors, and laptop computers to attain highly accurate survey results.  Most of our field surveyors are licensed professionals with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Our office staff utilizes cutting-edge software, enabling everything from quick and accurate construction calculations to 3D renderings of existing sites.  Our expertise with AutoDESK® Civil 3D is known throughout the world, and can be matched by few.  And we regularly utilize features such as aerial photography, GIS shapefiles, Digital Elevation Models, exports to Google Earth, and more, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in our industry.
