North Gate Boulevard

Edward-James Surveying, Inc. provided the construction survey staking for this bridge on North Gate Boulevard on the north side of Colorado Springs.  This deceptively-simple bridge was constructed in the middle of a horizontal curve in the roadway alignment, a vertical curve in the roadway profile, and contained a superelevation transition, all of which complicated the construction of the bridge.
