Edward-James Surveying, Inc. provided all construction survey staking for this major addition to Memorial Hospital.  This building was designed with virtually no straight lines, in an effort to create a softer, more-pleasant healing environment.  And while it was successful in its goal, the design made this building particularly tricky to erect.  With no corners to measure from, the construction workers were dependent upon the Surveyor for almost every task.
